Bogdan Salamakha is a cybersecurity expert with over 15 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, incident response, malware analysis, ransomware negotiations, secure coding, and secure infrastructure development.

Throughout his career, Bogdan has guided hundreds of companies in enhancing their cybersecurity posture, implementing robust security measures, and effectively recovering from cyber incidents.

Bogdan founded Virtus Cybersecurity with the core belief that “Security is a Virtue.” His mission is to instill proactive security practices and a security-first mindset into the foundations of businesses, organizations, and our personal behaviors.

Before launching Virtus Cybersecurity, Bogdan served as a security consultant at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he provided expert guidance to global enterprises. Prior to AWS, he was the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at TCDI, focusing on advanced cybersecurity solutions and incident management.
